Residents of the Charlotte Area Can Make a Donation for our Nonprofit & Help Us Support the National Kidney Foundation

Donation for Nonprofit CharlotteNational Kidney Services (NKS) encourages you to make a donation for our nonprofit charity in Charlotte, NC. With the help of generous donors like you, we’re able to make a real difference in the fight against chronic kidney disease by supporting crucial health programs established by the National Kidney Foundation. From educational literature about kidney disease to increasing awareness about the benefits or organ donation, numerous initiatives rely on your support.

NKS accepts a wide variety of used donations, such as men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, electronics, furniture, small appliances, linens, books, toys, decorative items, and more. So whatever items you have lying around your home or office, we’ll gladly accept them as a donation for our nonprofit organization.

In addition to making a donation for our nonprofit, help us by spreading the word about NKS and charitable giving at:

  • Home – Ask your spouse, relatives, or children to look through their closets for garments, shoes, and accessories they no longer want. An NKS donation pickup driver can come right to your house or apartment to collect donations.
  • Work – Tell your coworkers about our charity and ask if they have any items they’d like to donate. You could even organize an office clothing drive and NKS will pick up all the donated items, completely free of charge.
  • Neighborhood events – The next time you host a garage sale or notice your neighbors getting together for a community sale, donate the unsold items to NKS. You’ll be able to get rid of the unwanted clutter and do a good deed in the process.

If it would be more convenient for you to drop off your tax-deductible* donations for our charity group, bring them to any Value Village thrift department store in Charlotte, Gastonia, Kannapolis, or Mooresville.
